Why Blog?

This is a new thing for me. So why blog and why now? The level of chatter about politics, education and the world is often frustrating. The loudest and silliest seem to dominate the airwaves and even sensible journalists are not immune. The forces of paranoia are well allied with the forces of inertia, both locally and nationally. Sometimes just asking seemingly childish questions is all I need to do.
